Tom says, the "Rancho 'Ticket', I believe, was for a special event. Ordinarily, the only thing required for entry was a pulse, even if it were weak."
As an aside, Dale “Ollie” Olsen reports he was never at the Rancho and spent his time reading his Airman’s Manual and polishing his Good Conduct Medal. He does however confirm that the phone number for the Rancho was 625617.
