Notes: Says Jim, "The 'Break Room' was actually the Orderly Room in the early 1960's. When I reported in to the 6912th in April 1967, I looked out those windows (on the left) into Hanger 1, where they were laying out the wreckage of the Pan Am 727 freighter that flew into the ground while on approach to Tegel. I also remember watching the murals being painted at that time."
